What to expect

Day I — Public

Establishing the foundations. Opening framing, legal and governance context, practitioner perspectives, commissioned research papers, scholarly responses (muʿaqqibīn), and integrative discussion.

Day II — Closed Deliberation

The core deliberative phase. Holistic evaluation of research, application to zakāh categories, distinctions of permissibility, and articulation of safeguards and boundaries.

Outputs

A reference-grade fiqh standard, a governance framework for institutions, and a consolidated academic record, drafted under the academic authority of Islamic Finance Advisory.
